What exactly is roof rejuvenation?
Roof rejuvenation is a professional treatment that restores the natural oils and flexibility to aging asphalt shingles. As shingles age, they dry out, become brittle, and lose their ability to repel water. The treatment — applied by trained applicators — rehydrates the shingles from the inside, extending the roof’s protective life without a full replacement.
How do I know if my roof qualifies?
Rejuvenation works best on asphalt shingle roofs that are aging but structurally sound — typically roofs that are 5 to 15 years old with no major damage or missing shingles. We’ll ask a few questions about your roof’s age and condition to give you a quick answer on eligibility. No site visit required to find out.
How long does the treatment last?
Results vary by roof condition, climate, and exposure, but qualifying roofs can typically expect meaningful extended life from a single treatment. Many homeowners treat their roof periodically rather than replacing it — similar to how you’d maintain a deck or fence rather than rebuilding it entirely.
Will it void my roof warranty?
In most cases, no — but it depends on your specific warranty. The Fresh Roof product we use is designed to be compatible with standard asphalt shingle warranties. Many do not know that your “30yr Roof”, is only warrantied for 5 years. Insurance companies are now starting to pro-rate roof damage replacement costs.

Is this the same as a roof coating or sealant?
No — rejuvenation is different. A coating or sealant sits on top of the shingle surface. Rejuvenation is a bio-based treatment that penetrates the shingle and restores the oils that have dried out over time. It works from within the material, not as a surface layer on top of it.
Do I need to be home during the treatment?
No — you don’t need to be home. Our crew works on the exterior of the roof and doesn’t need interior access. Most homeowners aren’t even aware we’re there until we send the completion message. No disruption to your day.
